- 3 stalks celery w/leaves, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 2 lemons, cut in half
- 1/2 cup butter, cut into cubes
- 2 Tablespoons coarsely cracked black pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Worchestershire sauce
- 1.5 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
Instructions
- Wash shrimp thoroughly and place in a large, shallow pan
- Add celery and garlic
- Squeeze juice from 2 lemons over top
- Dot shrimp with butter and sprinkle with remaining ingredients
- Place shrimp under broiler until butter melts and shrimp starts to turn pink (about 5 minutes), stirring several times.
- When all shrimp are slightly pink, reduce temperature to 350 degrees and bake 15-20 minutes or until done, stirring often.
- Do not overcook or shrimp will become mushy. Taste for doneness
Notes
This is great with a baked potato. Use the buttery juice from the cooked shrimp to season your potato. Also great with french bread to dip in the juices.
