Sausage Gravy

Ingredients

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 5 Tablespoons flour
  • 5 Tablespoons butter (cut in 5 pads of 1 Tbsp each)
  • 3 cups milk

Instructions

  1. In a large pot cook the sausage, don’t drain.
  2. Add the butter, 1 Tbsp at a time. 
  3. Once the butter is melted add the flour and stir until the meat is well coated.
  4. Add the milk one cup at a time, stirring allowing the gravy to re-thicken each time.
  5. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve with biscuits.
