pound breakfast sausage
5 Tablespoons
flour
5 Tablespoons
butter (cut in 5 pads of
1 Tbsp
each)
3 cups
milk

Instructions
In a large pot cook the sausage, don’t drain.
Add the butter, 1 Tbsp at a time.
Once the butter is melted add the flour and stir until the meat is well coated.
Add the milk one cup at a time, stirring allowing the gravy to re-thicken each time.
Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve with biscuits.
